This rating and review are only for the short story, Persephone of the Crows by Karen Joy Fowler, contained in this volume.I have been going back and forth between three and four stars for this story, and so I will settle on a 3.5 , rounded up. It is a story that originally I read and thought one thing about, and then the further it sat in my mind, the less it has stuck with me.It paints a portrait of two young girls, Isabelle and Polly, who are friends because their academic fathers are friends...
