I usually really like this author, but there’s something about this one. Maybe it was too complicated-as a devoted non-skier- to envision or even follow the descriptions at different points. Slow burn for sure. In fact, the burn was so slow we didn’t get much time at all to understand the villain’s motivations. It was a pretty shallow wrap-up.

This is the best book I have read so far this year. I enjoyed the story line, the setting and the characters. It is easy to read and kept the pages turning into the early hours. This is the 1st book I have read by this author and will be reading more

This was a good book to read over a hot long weekend as it takes place in a snowed in ski chalet. As usual, Ruth Ware delivers her mystery and murder in fine fashion. What I like about her books is that the ultimate reveal makes sense. Some authors serve up a solution so convoluted that even the most astute reader-sleuth would never see it coming. Not so with Ms. Ware. The murderer was obvious enough but the journey to the reveal and the outcome are classic murder mystery. This has a well earned...
