This is a story about a practical joke that got out of hand. The practical joke involves building and launching flying saucers that are each about the size of a small car. Every person is quirky in their own way. I build flying saucers in my garage and fly them so people can look up in the sky and wonder, “what the hell is that?” People may also wonder, “What kind of idiot would do such a thing?” so the book covers some of my background as well. I am not incredibly funny, but weird things happen to all of us and this is a collection of the things I have experienced that made me laugh.

As I was preparing to build my first flying saucer, I checked the internet to see how other people had done this prank and I was surprised that no one had documented having done something similar. So I am either a pioneer in the field of UFO pranks or—as my wife contends—I am the first person stupid enough to admit to doing it. Either way there is some information here that you will not find anywhere else.
