That series only makes me mad.... I need Crash to finally GET IT TOGETHER... Ugh. Too much drama!
A bit of the "D"!Yes, while I do love this book series I'm a bit DISAPPOINTED with it! 1st: this damn slow burn between Breena and Crash is hitting on my last nerve. 2nd: I'm a little pissed about the inconsistency between this book and the previous 4 others, for example Breena was 41 years old in the previous books but now she's 43?, and the little girl that was kidnapped that lived across the street from Gran's house name was Charlotte and now her name is Ann? Like seriously WTH?. 3rd: I had g...
Lost interestI was excited when the new book came out but now I'm feeling pretty blah about the whole series. I read the first couple of chapters, realized it was going to be a replay of the same hot/cold from the previous four books, and then read the last chapter only for it to end in a cliffhanger. Reading the summary for the next book, it seems like that one will just be a re-hash of the exact same hot/cold. I probably won't waste anymore time reading each book - I'll just wait until the ser...
This one has an insulting, insipid hook ending.
I hate to repeat myself but this series just gets better with each release. Midlife Zombie Hunter was spectacular. My respect for the world building and character development deepens with every installment. I’m not even mad about the cliffhanger at the end because it was brilliant. Now, do I read the next ebook right away or wait for the audio to release? Decisions, decisions.
If you hate cliffhangers, do yourself a favor and don’t pick up this series. Seriously, EVERY. SINGLE. BOOK. I myself, am a glutton for punishment, so off I go with a smile on my face. Book three, Midlife Ghost Hunter, ended once again abruptly. Bree and Crash were in the forge and things were just heating up and…WHAMMO. End of book. Thankfully, Shannon took pity on us and started Midlife Zombie Hunter at the exact moment that we left off with Bree and Crash getting busy. BUT Bree’s suddenly wri...
2.5 stars 🌟Well, this was a surprise disappointment to me. I've enjoyed the last few books, but unfortunately, that likeability is not consistent with each book. How many times are we going to have Crash and Bree just at that point.....then....NOPE, sorry, not gonna happen...??? To me, it was one time too many. Sometimes I think it might be my mindset when I happen to read a book because this book just completely went a different way in my mind from the previous book. I'm not even sure how that
I'd give it 2.5. Same old same old. Nothing new.
a huge ruseWho would have thought this whole story was just a ruse to get what was buried in Bree back yard. That’s instense. We see a lot of old characters, and some cool new ones. And the choice Bree has to face, at the end of the book, is HUGE. Who can possibly make that choice. The next book is going to be Epic.
