The end of the series was AWESOM i luuuuuuuvvvvvv the ending. it's so sweet and endeering. I love these series and they are sooooo awesome. i recommend it to ALL people. Great job lauren!
That's right, the last book I read in 2018 was this YA number told entirely through instant messages. I I think I saw Lauren Myracle's trilogy in this format turn up on a list of experimental fiction since 2000, so this caught my eye in the Strand dollar racks and fair enough, she really sticks to her constraint and makes it work reasonably well for her narrative. She captures the rhythm of this sort of communication pretty well (even if part of that is a decent amount of noise and frivolity in
This is the 3rd book in the series. This was my all time favorite book. So many things had been shown and told. Their was so much drama and boy craziness. I think drama, and all that crazy stuff in high school books makes the book more interesting. That's one of the reasons why I couldn't put it down. They split up for a while because of so much drama but now they are insperable and it makes the story so much better.
I choose to read this book because i already read the other two books and i liked them .this book is realistic fiction.it takes place in gorgia,This book is there final year in high school (seniorrrssss:) This is the year the three girls are looking forward to but also dreading! they are looking forward to it beacause they are graduating and going to college but dreading it because they will be seperated.Madie; wants to go to ucla and she gets excepted but once she gets excepted to The state of
Great Book, defenitly learned a little something.L8r, g8r is like ttyl but its when there about to go to collage, there last year of High School. The book is still in I.M, at first it may be confusing because its hard to know whoose talking, but its in different letter and color. That really helps. The book is about the 3 bestfriends, still together after this girl Jana almost messed up their relationship. This time, they go back and forth with doing immature stuff such as sending baby chicks to
L8r G8r Lauren Myracle Amulet Books, 2007, 274 pp. , $6.95 ISBN 978-0-8109-7086-1 "… and then she saw me. i was crouched by the car…jana lunged for me and i tripped... i was like 'wait i can explain!' … i told her the truth -that I was trying to get her back for everything she did to us…so i explained the kidnapping plot…" Interesting right….well there is more to this book than you think. When I first opened up L8r G8r by Lauren Myracle, curiously, I found the format very interesting, it's wri...
“There's something strange about this big pink bunny...” Overall Thoughts This was a super fun, easy and cute series. Nothing intense of course, there's not much to actually review. But if you're looking for something light and funny, this series is great. The girls are hilarious and I found myself getting actually invested in their story lines and wondering what was going to happen in their lives next. - Until Next Time, Emerald BookWorm
these books are funny to think about because so much serious shit happens that they just sweep under the rug in a way that is very true to teenhood but also strange to think about an adult writing (this logic follows with some of the more offensive jokes as well, most of which are followed up with some sort of clumsy chastising)
1. I loved this book. Mainly because it was like reading someone's diary. It was getting an inside glimpse at someone's private world. 2. I got to thinking about the format the author used and to a reader it would seem easy to write a book in IM, but the author has to establish characters, setting, conflict, resolution, etc all within the confines of the IM conversation and she nails it. She made it seamless. She made it believable.3. I laughed out loud several times: the announcement of Jana be...
I choosed this book because i thought i would of like it and it would be a great book for me to read and it looked like a teen book. I also picked it because last year i read the 1st two books from Lauren Myracle and they where great and i thought this book would be too.It was Non-fiction.The setting whats like all over the place it always took place in the computer IM.THey were always in school or at each others place. The main character are ZOE MADDiE and ANGELAS.Zoe and Angelas are the wilded
I can't fathom why Ms. Myracle chose to start writing these Internet Girls books after writing nice books for teens. I guess she thought she would hop on the chatspeak bandwagon, but just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. This book is marketed towards the younger teen crowd, but this book (and the series) is rife with chatting about sex and drugs along with useless teen fluff and drama. It saddens me that Ms. Myracle thought that these books were somehow a good idea to write.
