In the far future, Earth is on the brink of death. The land has dried up, and the water has been polluted. Most people live out their lives in underground cities, where crime families control the streets, and jobs have been drying up. The richest now live in an artificial ring that surrounds the earth, a place called Heaven. They plan to leave to Mars, as soon as it is terraformed.
This is the world in which Samantha lives. She wandered down to one of these cities years ago, with no history and nothing but a will to fight. She quickly rose up the ranks through VR Snuff fights, where two opponents fight to the virtual death for the amusement of blood thirsty masses. She became known as the Tigress, because of the distinctive scars she carved into her body. She was content to live like this, drinking herself half to death between each fight and living through each day until she died.
All that will be changed when her 'friend' Bios, uncovers the key to getting rich, a near mythical crate of Antimatter that's been floating through the black market. Unbeknownst to either of them, another person is interested as well, the sociopathic mob hitman, Lion. Will Samantha choose to go along with Bios's schemes, and will she be able to safely escape the mob when she's forced to act against them?
