In cooperation with artists, scholars, and architects, Tom Holert examines an era of reforms, experiments, and upheavals that current debates should rediscover as an archival resource. The richly illustrated volume accompanies the exhibition of the same name at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, in the fall of 2020.
