it’s really not like me to be such a fan of a ya thriller series (or just ya or a series in general), but i was hooked by this one as soon as i read the first book in lockdown last year, and i’ve equally enjoyed all 3 books in the series (although this one may be my favourite). ‘as good as dead’ is a lot darker than the 2 previous books, but i personally loved that because it made the book even more gripping. the book is 500+ pages and i read it in just under 2 days, so if that doesn’t tell you
