I'm only hate-reading this series. I despise most, if not all, the characters in "Champions." Moreover this whole storyline is illogical and overwrought. There is no need for a separate "Kamala's Law" specific to children, when vigilante-ism is already illegal. You know, that's why 40 percent of the time Spider-man is running away from cops himself? What the outlaw series is failing to remember is that half the team have secret identities. You'd think a story line about teen heroes would remember that teenagers have friends, schools, and parents that wouldn't let them go on the run like this. With Ms. Marvel's solo series being cancelled, it leaves a gap in the story. In which the X-Men save the Champions from being arrested, but can't take them to Krakoa and so instead teach them that sometimes you have to make hard choices and sometimes those choices are wrong, but that's ok.And everyone hugs.Except they don't, they have breakfast instead.This is kinda lovely, I really enjoy these characters and they make a great team. It's interesting that CRADLE and Kamala's law looks like it will be an on-going thread in the Marvel universe and not just an 'event' with a quick resolution. This has a fun first half and a thoughtful, touching second half. I'm looking forward to how this continues.
I really like this series. I think it gives interesting commentary and I like these characters. This issue wasn’t an exception.
