Compilations are hard to review, and this one especially so. It was enjoyable as an exercise into remembering what it's like to think like a kid or a teenager. On the whole, the younger the author, the better the work -- teenagers seemed to be too self-aware and trying too hard to be poetic or something.
I love that this is entirely dedicated to children's and youth's writing. Some of their work was quite good and I have used this as a resource to encourage other children and youth to write creatively.
