It is an illustration that narrates the life and work of an exceptional man named Jesús Marcano, known as "The grandfather of the political prisoners." He is a simple person, coming from the people who felt the call of humanitarian duty and dedicated his life to the care of those detained for thinking differently from those in power in Venezuela. This is a work that earned him harassment, persecution, and imprisonment. However, this did not appease his spirit in the search for justice, earning him the respect, affection, and admiration of Venezuelans. In this story, the grandfather meets Alfredo Romero, the angel of the political prisoners, who comes to the rescue of these innocent people in a difficult period in Venezuela. This is a tale that combines fantasy with the struggle for freedom, to make known the terrible situation of those detained for political reasons.
