ADAM'S RHIB - Book One - March of the Dead

ADAM'S RHIB - Book One - March of the Dead

David Grimes
0/5 ( ratings)
Neila's mission is to resolve the mystery as to how her alien species, tens of millions of years old, can possibly be descended from much more recently evolved modern humans. Hidden in plain sight, she and her fellow alien colonists pass unnoticed on Earth, often living shoulder to shoulder with the very "living fossils" that carry the founding DNA of their species. The theory goes that when representatives of all of the founding lineages come together in a single cohort, the riddle will be solved. But just as that seems likely to happen, Neila is sidelined by a powerful faction in the colony that will stop at nothing to cast doubt on the science, scuttle the discovery and hide the truth. She can't let that happen. But her strongest ally in the colony is a self-absorbed, shirt-popping muscle freak who doesn't take anything seriously. His best idea runs the risk rupturing the space-time continuum. The only dumber thing he could possibly think of would be to enlist the help of one of the "fossil" subjects - Liam Breslin, who is about to launch his sailboat from Tuktoyaktuk on the next leg of his solo transit attempt of the Northwest Passage through the McLure Strait, where he may cross paths with a cohort aboard the Canadian Coast Guard research ship Tommy Douglas.
