Elvira-worthy intro to the horror that is romanceFirst story had its moments w/ the concept of a male Real Doll, but rushed to end everything in a couple peculiarly preachy/unrebutted paragraphs. Spoiler: You should be able to feel it when someone surgically removes your eyes, not just frown at their trite incel manifesto. 3.5/5 for clean writing & purported word count constraints.Second story had trouble getting past first page let alone last with all the Southern speak, confusing pronouns/sent...
oh what a great collection! my favorite stories were by: Meg Sipos, Ashley Van Elswyk, Matias Travieso-Diaz, Simone Le Roux, C.M. Lowry, and Allison Floyd.
