My 4-year-old son absolutely LOVES this book. We cook from it, tell stories from the pictures, talk about food, gardening, seasons and the natural cycle of the year. We also have 'Lunch at 10 Pomegranate Street' by Felicita Sala, and that book is equally adored in our house. I can't recommend this book enough - kids of all ages (and adults!) will enjoy cooking and learning from it!

2.5 starsI was very excited to read a book focusing on growing vegetables and cooking with them, I love Sala's artwork and I really enjoyed this author's similar recipe/picture book 10 Pomegranate Street which also featured recipes, these were from the Street's multicultural inhabitants, ironically Pomegranate Street featured more vegan and vegetarian recipes or ones that could easily be made so. The book made the point that these were easy recipes and ones that would appeal to children, I didn'...
