Storyline is still really confusing, but sometimes it makes enough sense that I can muddle through. The best issue in this volume was the Tea Time Special which isn’t even part of the storyline
Wow, another trade with only three issues. So stingy. Individual issue reviews: Tea Time #1 | #27 | #28Total review score: 2.33
Is Xander alive or a vampire, what do these disparate tales have to do with each other, why am i still wasting time reading this garbage, all questions with no good answers.
Deze serie begint vermoeiend te worden... Er werken veel tekenaars aan deze serie, maar je moet telkens weer uitdokteren wie wie is... En de verhaallijn wordt telkens onderbroken door kleine verhalen...
Another short Buffy volume that spends too long spinning its wheels rather than progressing the plot. The problem with this series for a while now has been that it's got too many characters and doesn't know what to do with half of them. It worked when they were being introduced slowly and we got to know them first, like with Kendra and Wesley, but now we've got multiversal Slayers, the Watcher's Council, the Mayor, and new Big Bad Silas to worry about, and that's even without worrying about Buff...
things are getting quite complex, with the multiverse, silas and the lurkers as the big bad, xander gone, anya and morgan, giles' mother aligning with the mayor, faith, wesley and kendra...it's confusing when you have characters in two different universes and every issue seems to have a new artist...
