Shay has plans again, but not her plans.
Plans that make her busier than she wants, more tired than she needs, and pull her away from what her heart desires most.
She’s still a leader and still not wanting to be; still a mother but a better one now; still a girlfriend to a great man despite the extra responsibility; and Shay is starting to accept it for what it is.
Navigating her life as whatever the heck she is now, Shay gives it her all. Wanting trust, love, respect, and a little bit of me time in return.
But who has time for themselves when everybody is leaning on you? Gone are the days being wild and free, so what’s the point in even wanting it anymore? It’s a black hole of disappointment that’s simply not worth spiralling into.
