"British are we? You're a long way from home." He whistled as he studied me. "What are you doing out here on the soccer field?"

"I could ask you the same question," I retorted as he chuckled, his gaze sweeping around us with amusement.

"Well, I'm playing football."

Victoria Marshall has recently moved to the US, due to the recent death of her father. She finds herself living with her Aunt Dottie whilst she struggles to adapt to her new life, attending college to study English Literature in the hope of teaching.
