IMPACT WINTER is free from Audible, if you are a member. This story is vaguely reminiscent of Brian Lumley's vampire series, because there are several types of vampires in this story. I'm bummed that we've been left hanging at the end though, so I will look forward to more episodes.
Fun vampire audio book. I enjoyed the full cast presentation.
Loved this radio play format for a story about vampires and survivors, that reminded me of a combination of Empire of the Vampire and Reign of Fire.
Absolutely fantastic listen that kept me wanting more. To be honest I still want more, I need to know what happens to all the characters I fell in love with. Truly superb imagining of the apocalypse with vampire love in there. Highly recommend.
Combining the SF tropes of asteroid winter (and let's all hope it stays SF) & post-apocalypse with a fresh yet traditional take on vampires, Impact Winter delivers a solid nearly five hours of British dark entertainment. Enjoyed this audible, but I felt like there was so much more to explore. Given the creators, it’s no surprise it feels more like something intended to be a series that can be flushed out over time than all in a single book/audible. Overall it’s a great audio production. It’s an audio theater experience with different voice actors and immersive sounds that gives the story more depth and intrigue (at least for me).
