#LitWorld2018GB Argentina Fast-paced with a deluded narrator and layers of irony. Delightfully wicked read!
The dialogues are a bit childish. But the general idea and some quotes are outstanding.

4 stars. I loved the voice of the narrator as she awkwardly navigates her unsteady course through a dysfunctional marriage and family.
Almost exclusively told via internal monologues of the protagonist, this is a psychological thriller. Piñeiro does an excellent job of portraying people in all their conflicted, messy, realities. Read if you are interested in the workings of a warped mind. If you've read Jim Thompson's work, for example The Killer Inside Me , you know the type of drama contained here.
It is an excellent story, it ends very well complying with what was said. In less than 100 pages you tell yourself in detail what she suffers, you understand her but sometimes you do not accept her ideas. Although the daughter is not important, she shows you what happens to her while everything is happening.
