this book was interesting and its one of my favourites books because it about a mermaids and I love reading books about mermaids
me and my kids really enjoyed the colored pages of this wonderful book of the little mermaid. my daughter since i have purchased this book for her, hasn't stopped reading it and flipping though the pages on our kindle. a great read for family and children all around. with all the bright colors kids love it. the price isn't bad either. my daughter loves Ariel and Eric.
My childhood is crying in this moment... seriously.This was one of my favorites Disneys' tales and I'm still loving it.

I loved all these Disney books when I was a little kid and today I woke up and said to myself why not reread them! I will always stand by my opinion that you're never too old for kid's books!Only one tiny thing is a bit disturbing here: the instant love factor - maybe we shouldn't teach kids to marry someone after knowing them for four days :\
My kids and Grandkids loved this book. I loved them too. Pure nostalgia.

Although you think you are not notice believe me you are. One day your beauty will come to the surface and the love you seek will be right in front of you holding your hand for eternity. With all the finds in the sea you still look for happiness in other ways. Always and forever nomore searching the cold lonely sea for treasures to be because everything you need will be right there with you. Love is something like a beautiful voice saving a stranger on the seashore forever more.
Loved it in a bitter sweet way. Disney has made us see the little mermaid story in the prince loves the princess sort of way. While the original story is a tad bit realistic. Not all plans are successful. Not all prince charming fall for the right girl. Following the prince isn't always the right way. Life should have more goals other than marrying the stupid prince charming(i am personally upset from him for not picking up the foundling). Love can be unrequited. But love in itself is beautiful

I like the Disney retelling of the classic fairy tales. They are kid friendly. They contain all the emotions of real life but manage to not be scary like some of the original fairy tales were. Ariel is unhappy living under the sea and wants to walk on land . She is fascinated by humans and then as fate would have it , she falls in love with one. Never really loved the story of little mermaid, as it's tragic and I'm kind of afraid of mermaids...But this one is the disney version, so at least it got a happy ending...

I wanna be where the people are. I wanna see, wanna see 'um dancing, walking around on those... What do you call them? Oh, feet! Flipping your fins...Just like anyone's ever said, Ariel is a problem.
