every one should read at least once
Read it ... Read it again and taken notes and then ... Read it again اين نمايشنامه رو بايد خوند ... باز هم خوند و نُت برداشت و ... باز هم خوند
short and coolDialogs were impressive
My rating is actually 4.75 but i can't put it here BUT WOWOWOWOOW this book is incredible. The ups??? The downs??? The plot twists AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA whoever reads French please please please read it.
Simple style, simple story although with some of the twist in action. Maybe too much pathos, but it's all so easy to accept when it comes to Mr. Schmitt. Humor, emotions, fears... and before you know it, you're on the last page. Universal problem with universal solution, gives a feel of some of the Shakespeare's stories, not by the style but by the meaning and possibilities). Refreshing.
Fabulous
A dark tragedy or (from some POVs) realistic drama of the love destiny. Very skillful demonstration of our day-to-day paranoia driven panophobia in love life. The main point is: if you want to live, (willingly) let your partner (at least a little) cast you in his/her own ideals.
5/5 for me
First time I read something like this and I have to say that's simply brilliant!!! A perfect very clear, ironic and pitiless analysis of a long-lasting relationship. Made my mood lift up and I am impressed by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Don't know another author who can write about so very different subjects and always in a wonderful way.
well found this book’s Persian translation in a music library groub which recently decided to contribute to a reading community as well... and though im not very fond of my mother-language-based novels (whether original or translated), i never took the title so serious until tonight which i really felt the urge to read it, bcuz why else would i let a pdf rest in my adobe reader, hah?! and i was so fond of the Person title months ago when i came actoss it, on the contrary; so i started reading it...
Very dramatic, How can a love story be a crime story? The universal dramatic situation happens often though we ignore it!
Wow. This was incredible!
I love these dialogues and the way Schmitt shows something, which is relationship this time, as something so complicated...it makes me wonder if he exaggerates or he just sees all human psychology like he was looking on the painting, woman and man with no brains but words exploding in their heads, ready to come live on the paper of this book....I believe second version is more real :)
best
There are many very cool sentences, a captivating story and plot twists. I'd love to perform this!

This play was written very well, I really enjoyed reading it. highly recommended.
An easy read The plot and characters aren't well developped - not to mention the cliché cycle of lies and truth, lies and truth...But it contains some nice ideas
One of the best books that describes love in passing time.
