Wonderful and fabulous new author! I loved this book and Pekkanen really brought me in and made me feel what it might have felt like to have a sister, a twin sister. Refreshing, funny and heart-wrenching, this book made me smile, laugh, and cry. I cannot wait to see what Pekkanen releases in the future - she is definitely one to watch!

Picked this up at a library bag sale. I tried but couldn't make it through. Typical characters, typical problems. Just not for me.

The Opposite of Me is more than a chick lit book. It is a novel about twins who are 29 years old and trying to find their true self. Through many life struggles ( loss of jobs, accidents and moving home) the reader cheers, laughs and has empathy for their challenges. A nice, fast summer read.

I kept hoping this book would become a bit more deeper or profound. When I first started reading it, I immediately got that chick lit feeling in my stomach. 3.5+ stars - really cute, easy read. I enjoyed the main character and her ups and downs. Like the other Pekkanen books I've read, you want to know what happens next with the characters - which means she's doing something right!
