The Apostle Paul wrote to the Church at Thessalonica that:
- Before Jesus returned for them on the "day of the Lord" the "man of lawlessness" the Antichrist, would appear, claim to be God and perform miracles.
- God would cause those, who "refused to love the truth" to believe the lie, that the Antichrist is Christ.
- "All will be condemned who have not believed the truth"
Those, with no love of the truth, have been set up by God to worship the Antichrist, "receive a mark" - "666" and be eternally damned. 2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13;14
