This book grew out of a conference in 1986 which highlighted recent research in rural housing. Part 1 places rural housing in its economic, social and historical context. Part 2 addresses the issues of access to housing and housing supply. Part 3 examines the issues in an international context, comparing the experiences of England, Ireland and Sweden.
