Sandra Phillips, RN, received a Master of Science degree in human services from Springfield College in Los Angeles. For the past ten years, she has worked with grieving children and families in both clinical and hospice settings. Ms. Phillips is a registered nurse with thirty-one years of nursing service. She also completed a certification as a legal nurse consultant from the Legal Nurse Consulting Center, Inc. Grieving children and families desperately want and need to share the details of their grief. Unfortunately, as human beings, they rarely have the words to describe their suffering and pain. Ms. Phillips wanted to provide a vehicle for all people to heal. My Genesis is the outcome of the authoras experience and dedication to both children and adults alike struggling to heal and deal with grief and pain through the love of family and friends.
