Sahyan, a naïve fool, and Daryan, a wicked knave are partners in a textile trading business. Their business is successful and allows them to save enough money to go back to their hometowns which prompts Daryan to cheat Sahyan out of his money share and take it all for himself. Soon enough, Daryan’s plan is discovered and he ends up in prison while Sahyan receives the whole sum of money as a reward. The Fool and the Knave instills the morals aiming to impart the right values to children and highlights that being good will prevail at the end.
