Your device of Shakespeare quotations, step by step through the plays of his life, is brilliant and very effective. And daring, for you pose your own lines over and against Shakespeare's own amazing lines. Shakespeare, of course, comes off very well-what astonishingly wonderful passages these familiar excerpts are. But, astonishingly, so does Swartz, Shakespeare's elaborator.
