Hello November! This is the First Anniversary of Intellectual Ink Magazine, and we dedicate this magazine to YOU. This month is very special to us, so we decided to bring you two versions. We're offering in digital and print, our regular issue featuring Madame President of Blacks In Government, The honorable Shirley Jones Esq, and a special edition featuring our year in review. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the love and support. The journey thus far has not been easy at all. We just make it look that way. The past year has been full of ups and downs, smiles and frowns, but with prayer and purpose, we pushed through. Beginning a magazine in the middle of a global pandemic is unheard of, but we started, maintained, and were successful at it. We wouldn’t have made it without God, our passion, and most importantly, without all of you. Intellectual Ink Magazine was created to give a platform to the industry where there was none. There are magazines out there, and kudos to you all, however, there’s none like ours in this lane. With a dedication to literature and adding in a dab of pop culture and a heap of fashion, we have been the leading source for all things literature for 365 days. That’s a lot of content. That’s a lot of YOU. For this, we have chosen to give you all a peek into our world. We are the cover models, and I thank my business partners for agreeing to receive their flowers. For days, weeks, months we worked tirelessly, despite all other things going on, to bring a variety of content worth reading. With all the hard work, we deserve to have a cover. Hell Oprah has been doing it for years on each of her magazines, so now it’s OUR turn.. at least for a month. Within the pages of this month’s anniversary issue, you will find the best of our inaugural year with some new, never-before-seen articles. Of course, we have Charlotte’s Closet, see Who’s Next, and Write News filling up the back end. Oh, and we have TONS of pics from events and places we’ve been.
