Antoni Gaud' is celebrated as one of the most important architects of the early 20th century. His unbelievable Art Nouveau buildings were marked by their whimsical design and fantastic details. Joan Bassegoda Nonell has been curator of the Real Catedra Gaud', a research institute which undertakes research into Gaud'related matters and is affiliated with the Universitat Politecnica de Barcelona. Juan Morell Nu-ez teaches architecture at the Real Catedra Gaud' and the Catalan Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Francesc Naves Ni-as is a professor in the Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
