This book was created by Xiong Liang, a painter and children's literature writer who was nominated for the Andersen Illustration Award. Painted by the painter Hei Mi, who was awarded the Golden Apple Award in the previous illustration exhibition. The story is inspired by Qinghai folklore. At the beginning of the world, animals were all without markings. Pallas's cat is also one of them. It feels gray and boring everywhere, until one day it is fascinated by a shining thing on the ground... The whole book uses pure hand woodcutting, restoring traditional printmaking craftsmanship, with unique ingenuity and full of childishness.
