Anything that will put you back into the world of New Vegas is worth checking out in my books.
I automatically love anything even faintly related to Fallout (as you can probably tell by my reviews of anything set in or around Boston) and I love New Vegas so much. I didn't know this comic existed until today, but it was pretty cool. I still don't really feel anything for Benny, though, even though it was fun to get his backstory a bit. To be honest I hadn't even considered that the Mojave meant going back to basics away from established settlements, properly. The tribal lifestyle then bein...
Great intro to New Vegas. Benny is one of the most interesting antagonists of the series, i'm glad to see a little bit of his pre-Chairman days covered throughout the book. The artstyle was great too, I like how New Vegas was larger than how it was in the game, more businesses and people on the Strip.
I automatically love anything to do with Fallout: New Vegas so yeah this rating wasn't biased or anything....
COMICS. Comics never change. This short comic, based off of the hyper-popular Fallout games series, is definitely for serious Fallout fans only. It’s short and makes for a quick read, and covers a lot of familiar ground from the world of Fallout: New Vegas. Revisiting some of the tribes of the desert wasteland, like the Great Khans and the Chairmen, we get to peek a bit at their origin stories and for a few notable characters, their personal backstories as well. I won’t spoil anything, but there...
Great prologue to one of my favorite games!
I am in love with the Bethesda games!I am most excited for Fallout 4 coming out in November.I think I will like this book, because I love Fallout lore,or Elder Scrolls lore.I don't like comic books to much but if its about my favorite topic, then I will read it all the time (Until I finish it).I hope I get to actually read it!
Nice little read for Fallout fans. All takes place before the beginning segment of New Vegas, where Benny and a group of Khans are on the trail of the courier (your character in the game).Artwork is nice but it is just too short to be any better than 3 stars.
Every few years I find myself coming back to play Fallout: New Vegas, and before I start a new campaign I read this little supplemental comic in preparation for it. These few pages have a simplistic story but really lack substance to be a standalone title, and I feel that this was commissioned only to provide a small semblance of prologue to a much grander story within the video game. You will find a menagerie of references to the game and it’s lore throughout this comic and vice versa, which ca...
Good script - would be four stars if it weren't so short.
Noice bookI love fallout therefore I loved this graphic novel. I liked it because you get to see how the men who killed you planned it all.
After playing Fallout: New Vegas for years on end, it was nice to finally read the prologue to one of the greatest titles in the franchise.
I loved the video game that this serves as a prologue to. The fallout universe is rich and dark, filled with dark humor and yet, as you play through the games in the series, hope.Given this was written by the lead narrator/writer of New Vegas, I expected it to be good from the get go for a comic. This certainly didn't disappoint. The tone is grim, purpose driven, and really helps set the mood for the bits of the story you can find in game. (There aren't many). I would love to see Chris Avellone
So good! And now I want a comic series that's just all about New Vegas and what happens both before and after the game. Bethesda, make it happen.
Don’t waste your time.
This is a short prequel to the game Fallout: New Vegas. You don't have to have read it to play the game, but it gives a bit of backstory and explains a couple Easter eggs you'll find while playing. Fallout: New Vegas is one of my all-time favorite games, and I'm a Chris Avellone groupie, so AUTOMATIC FIVE STARS.
Fallout: New Vegas-All Roads was written by Chris Avellone and serves as introduction to the world and the antagonist of New Vegas, Benny. I believe that this is a great comic and does its job of introducing the reader into the world that is the Mojave, including significant events and locations in the Game. Personally,I think the book does it's job by explaining how Benny and the Khans managed to find The courier and knock him out as seen in the New Vegas intro. I really enjoy characterization
A great short introduction to the game, I loved learning a little more about Benny!
Maybe it's just that it's been a long time since I played New Vegas, but this didn't connect with me at all. The fragments of story set up here don't really gel - I guess the characters were there but they didn't make much of an impression, and the book moves through a lot in its limited space; meaning it doesn't develop much of anything at all. Art is decent but not memorable. Overall, this isn't really anything to write home about. Not bad, but not worth going out of your way to read.
Good but shortGood but shortthe book is only about 50 pages or so, it's short but it gives some cool back story as to how Benny finds the courier. it's a good read if you already know the story of new Vegas
