Radclyffe .. with authors like her, I rarely read or write reviews ! I just read :)
Radclyffe has me hooked on this series. It’s getting better and better. The more we get to know about the characters, the more fascinating it is. The romances are wonderful and the police work and cases in this small town are exciting. This author is really world class in creating groups of people for series.I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. My rating 5 stars.
Again...BRILLIANTYep guess my titles are getting obvious. Do I care?....NOPE! Another Provincetown instalment and they just keep getting better. New characters are introduced and a community is being built which is making the story even more realistic. Radclyffe's descriptions are for me the best part. She puts you right there. You can see the harbour, the sky, the sand or somebody's eyes. You can feel the sun on your face. I know from reading other reviews people say she is predictable. I won't...
I cannot get enough of this series. Radclyffe was able to redeem KT and introduce a new strong character Pia that humanized her. The maturity of Reese and Tori was on full display throughout and I was very pleased Radclyffe did not make up some contrived love triangle between KT, Tori and Reese as that would be an insult to the rich history of their relationship forged in the prior two books. Bri was much stronger in this story and is a perfect mirror of Reese, which appears to be necessary give...
another good read.
In episode 3 of the Provincetown Tales series, Tori’s ex turns up in town in need of refuge and redemption, while Tori herself is badly in need of a temporary business partner. What ensues is a fairly familiar arc of love and faux trauma, in Provincetown at large, which is reassuringly comfortable but could have brought so much more. (And I’m not not suggesting here that KT should have disturbed the the Tori-Reese universe....that would have been too far fetched!)I really wanted KT to be a bit m...
No matter how much I hated KT for what she had done to Tory, I couldn't help but feel terrible for her in this novel. Reese's father is that ever present threat that holds a gauntlet over Reese and Tory, even with the brith of their daughter. Bri is still being Bri, and I love her dearly, but man, she has to wise up. I like the intro of Pia Torres, she could be interesting if she holds her place in the story line.As always, great plot development and that ever present tension that makes Radclyff...
I have enjoyed this series. The characters are interesting as they navigate daily life, friends, family, careers, and challenges. I embrace the small town, police cases, hospital scenarios, and romance.
This won a Lambda Literary award. Really?KT O'Bannon, trauma surgeon, meets physical therapist Pia Torres. The usual happens, though it does have a slightly different twist from Rad's others. I liked the character of KT. What I didn't like was the omniscient/head hopping POV etc., etc.Actually, this is the third in the Provincetown series and does continue the saga of Sheriff Reese Conlon and Dr. Tory King. But because they are living happily ever after, new characters are introduced to provide
Book 3 of the series has the Provincetown Police Department finally crack (pun intended) the case on how young people are acquiring drugs on the island. Our favorite lesbian couple is back and a new couple makes their debut.
4 stars because of KT’s appearance in the book. If it weren’t so good, I would have rated 2! For someone who cheats, KT doesn’t deserve someone who could love unconditionally like Pia and certainly Tory’s forgiveness. It frustrates the hell out of me that Radclyffe even thought of plotting KT as a main character in this book of the series. I couldn’t find it in my heart to forgive someone like her. KT doesn’t know how to love in the first place. She broke off a 12 years relationship because she
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this book. I say surprisingly because a good chunk of it had to do with KT and to be honest she is a character I didn't like. Maybe it's that I'm loyal to a fault, but I will never understand what would compel someone to cheat on someone they supposedly loved. But Radclyffe you have done it to me again and somehow wrote this story to where I was actually rooting for her. I guess if she had never done what she did to Tori, than not one of these characters would have...
Can't believe how much Bri has grown and I love her character. I'm not going to lie, I'm liking KT and Pia's developing relationship. The author, has a way of making you see more of each character, not just their mistakes... hell, we all make mistakes! some come at a higher cost.Wedding, is what I was waiting for!
I am loving this series the characters are so different and yet somehow joined all living in a community which embraces them no matter who they love. Can’t wait to start the next one
I’m definitely invested in the characters at this point lol. Hard to admit I’m actively reading romance novels at this point but hey a reading challenge is a reading challenge.
Wonderful. I am quickly realizing that this series equals or even surpasses the Honor Series as my favorite. Reese Conlon is perhaps my favorite character, and the relationship between she and Tory is riveting. I really enjoyed the addition of KT into the mix. It took me some time to warm to her, but as things between KT and Pia heated up, I found them adorable together. I worry for Bri and Allie, although my fears over Bri straying away from Caroline have been assuaged. Always the threat from a...
I started with this book of the series. Definitely felt like I missed out on the first 2 books for the backstory because too many people were talking that I didn't know about. I did enjoy the story and the narrator. Am going to have to read the first 2 books now !
I absolutely love this series and book three is another excellent addition. Reese, Tory, and Reggie are so adorable together. I love how well Tory and Reese know one another. Reese is not at all jealous or worried with Tory’s ex helping out at the clinic. She knows Tory loves her and she knows that Tory still hurts and needs closure from their bad breakup. Tory is amazing as well. She wants Reese to quite the Marines, but she knows it’s a vital part of Reese and she won’t make her do that. I als...
Was surprised from Radclyffe bringing KT's story into the series. I liked it but wish more events about main line - Tory and Reese. Looking forward to start the book 4 tonight. Love the series)
