One God One Religion [Part II]

One God One Religion [Part II]

Saiyed A Haider
0/5 ( ratings)
The writer has studied various scriptures which are seen as being divine by their respective followers. These include the Upanishads, the Gita and the Vedas, the Quran, teachings of Buddha, Moses and Jesus. Are they teaching a different path? If that is so, are there several gods, a Hindu God, a Muslim God, a Christian God and no God as in the case of present Buddhist beliefs? Or is it that only one of them is on the true path which others are false, their gods are false and their scriptures are false? Or is that the path being shown by all of these scriptures was one and the same, and man, because of material afflictions, couldn't rise to the point where he could understand the spiritual aspects of teachings? What is the difference between Ishwar and Paramatma? What is the relationship between Paramatma and Devatas, between Devatas and Manus, between Siva and Vishnu and between Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh? Do we know the true relationship between all of them? Do we know the relationship, if it is there, between Paramatma and Allah or between Allah and the Christian God or between Jesus and God? We are groping in the dark. The truth is there in the scriptures but we are yet to find it.
