This is a fast paced action thriller set in the present day. A merciless serial killer Luke, obsessed with the blood sacrifices of the ancient Aztec civilisation tracks Juel, an attractive young lady recovering from an abusive childhood who is now trying to settle down to a normal lifestyle on the south coast of England. By chance Luke rescues Juel from a blizzard in the Scottish mountains and pursues her under the guise of a good Samaritan until they both become involved with a drug gang, by innocently saving a gang member from a severe fire. Juel saves Luke's life following a gun battle as they both try to escape but unaware of this he continues to track her remorselessly, sinking deeper into his fantasy world, killing all those who stand in his way as his obsession with her grows. Juel is determined not to return to her dark side but in order to survive has to abandon all her good intentions in the final shocking conclusion.
