Within is a story of the forces of the innermost spirits that reside in each and every one of us, guiding our lives down the paths that make the choices that we strive to make in our everyday lives. There are many roads to choose from on that tree of life, some are choices of a lifetime, others are a little less desirable in nature. The being that dwells in our hearts and minds is like an engine controlling the accomplishments and disappointments that we all as a society do possess. Norman Wells is a man facing such altercations, but at a much higher level, Code Purple if you will. Within is set in the 1990s, based on the life of an English teacher named Norman Wells, an ordinary man whose life is centered around the simpler things in life. The story behind the story chronicles the trials and tribulations associated as a direct result to the special gifts that he inherited in the most unlikely of circles. This path of life would lead him down roads that only dreams and fantasies have residence at and details the way that he deals with the tragedies that encompass his life. The self-realization in the end would lead to the ultimate sacrifice to be relinquished to society.
