I am a Type Z personality all day, every day and finally I have finished reading this book. My mum bought it for me as a joke on my birthday a few years ago and I remember barely getting through the first few pages. I started reading it again because I was really bummed about how my life was looking. Was not disappointed! Even Type Zs can have a successful life and I aim to do it in a relaxed way. It lifted my spirits in a moment when I feel really down and I believe that if I follow those basic...
I read this great little book in about a week. I very much enjoyed everything contained within. I will definitely keep it around to read often. This is a book to read when you need to remind yourself that good is what we're supposed to receive, and yes, there is a way to make it happen!
creating a vision of what you want to be in 5 yrs time...
The book was quite an eye-opener for me :) and i had not expected to come across a book which talks about "lazy approach to success". Almost all the success mantras or principles or habits that we read or listen to has "Type A" personality at the core but this book tries to break that myth (and succeeds too) by citing personal stories and examples. The book talks about how being a Type-Z a.k.a "lazy" has nothing to do with success and one could be successful by going about life in an easy, relax...
This book came at a perfect time for me. It was inspiring to learn you can be lazy and still achieve success. I would call this book a simple/modern version of think and grow rich. For such a short book, it contains a lot of hidden gems such as relaxing throughout the day, taking time off (he takes Mondays off) and the ideal scene I was also a massive fan of those small summaries throughout the book. I wish other authors would do something similar. However, this book was not perfect. I would’ve
UsefulIt was a big help. A useful tool that inspired the course correction I needed. Thanks!!!. It was worth it.
The content has a very strong self-help tone and it is rather simplistic, but I still learn quite a bit from this book, just like I always learn from all books that I've read no matter how cheesy they are. There is hardly anything new in the content but to me it serves as a reminder. As my BJJ instructor puts it, he knows that we already know what he's telling us, but he questions whether we are already doing it. Remembering this makes one able to learn from any book one reads. Oh and I like how
This was a easy read and gave my life a motivational boost. Here are a few key points that were reinforced when I read this book. To live your life with a sense of ease and lightness in your heart. The way to achieve this is an inside job. It is all in our mind. Set goals and set up a clear plan to achieve them. Learn from others mistakes.
Very simple. Good introductory content on vision and goal setting, but overall limited in detail and depth. Additionally, the author seems to be all about the power of positive thinking ala the secret and Think and Grow Rich. ie, just ask for a million dollars and you will get it.A short fun read, but little substance.
