R.J. Wilson
0/5 ( ratings)
Billy "Boy" Salinger, a recent Yale graduate, is a newly promoted account executive at one of the most prestigious advertising agencies on Madison Avenue in New York City. His first real responsible assignment in life is to supervise a pharmaceutical account announcing a new laxative. But certain events in the world of advertising and business and living in the Big Apple are not what Billy had envisioned before relocating from the rural landscape of his hometown in Massachusetts. He soon finds himself disillusioned about his new ascension to success and begins to question his purpose in life. At twenty-eight, Billy experiences the adversities of an early mid-life crisis and what it is like to survive in the world's largest concrete jungle. Yet, there is a joyful transition to this tale as Billy and his motley crew of friends find an oasis of happiness they've each been searching for, that elusive island in paradise.
