Great book. I like the many stories in it.
Growing up during the early 2000's, my first introduction to Batman as a character came through this particular series. Needless to say, this series holds a special place in my heart.I am aware that it serves as a tie-in to the animated Batman series on TV at the time but the comic still rocks some really awesome visuals. The art style is the epitome of minimalistic grace. Despite being targeted more towards a younger audience, I found myself enjoying all the stories with a sense of warmth and e...
Written and drawn in the same style that made the Gotham Adventures TV shows such a success, these would have each made great episodes.
Gotham Adventures is the third comic book series based on Batman: The Animated Series (following Batman Adventures and Batman and Robin Adventures.) This book collects Issues 1-6 of that series.Issue 1: “With a Price on His Head:” The double length opener finds everyone in the city is gunning for the Joker as the father of one of his victims has put a $50 million price on the Joker’s head, leading to a public safety problem and Batman forced to hide the Joker: the one place the Joker will be saf...
Fantastic Set of Comics recommend it highly to anyone who is looking to get in to the Batman comic book scene first issue is also free on some comic apps for certain devices.
This is actually one of my favorite comics book series ever it was really a great beginning. The one thing that i really liked about this series is the art cause these days you barely could see how the person is dressed. Its as if this was linked to the justice league comics book series which i bet was the only thing is i wish it was longer its about 15 to 30 pages long.Yet in the end i believe everyone will enjoy this amazing artwork series.
I love these animated-style Batman stories. Really concise renderings of the villains, creative plots and strong meat-and-potatoes characterization. Nothing deep or world shaking, but a very fun book.Rick Burchett is a rock.
Very fun! There is a very well done Joker story in which Batman is forced to take him back to the Bat Cave, it is hilarious. Also, there is an Alfred moment that adds a bonus bit of awesome.I also really loved the Catwoman story, not only because she is a great character but because it did a really great job illustrating her complicated relationship with Batman. There is also a Deadman origin story that was decent and an average Mr. Freeze episode.Overall, a fun comic that lovers of the Animated s...
