This is a nice ABC book and probably even better for an introductory art lesson.Each letter is assigned an object (eg, "C is for cat") which is paired with four images of that object, taken from different times and art styles.

What a fun art book to read and look at with your children! It was fun asking Zander - my 5 year old - to pick out his favorite painting of the 4 paintings on each page. Older children might be better able to express why each painting is their favorite. Bonus- It's hard to find good art books for children that are modest. This is one of them.

I absolutely loved the book "Museum ABC" because it displays culture throughout each of the pages. It is important for children to be exposed to art and this book does a great job at that. The illustrations were beautiful and were captivating. I also liked how the author gave a word example for each letter.

This book has grown with us, and it's been amazing to see how Jackson's relationship with each word has changed, as he learns more and more words. Wow! Wow! Wow! I love this book. Yes, it may not be the most effective alphabet book out there (I have read quite a few), especially since it does not have lowercase letters, however, I am overjoyed to have found such a book that exposes young children to pieces of artwork.
