I love these books. They are a fun way of getting children to look more closely at art without being preachy.
Simple look and find book with nice artwork. Not a lot of super famous artwork for The general population that aren’t art connoisseurs. But a good intro to various American art.
Best way to teach young eyes art appreciation is to have them look for minute details. I like that this also focuses on American History. Win Win.
A seek and find with a splash of culture. Famous paintings from the 1800's on each page along w/10 or so different items to find. Great way to introduce fine art to younger ones.
3.5 starsA more "cultural" twist to the "search and find" books out there. 20 works of art from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, displayed with "details" (items) to discover. Brief note on the works (and labeled answers) in the back. Encourages students to explore art! American history ties as well.
a "smart" look and find. Readers are told to find items in historical paintings from the Metropolitan museum of ARt
