I loved Reese character so i'm glad we had this short story from is POV as a crow and i also really appreciated the flashbacks since in the main story i felt like we didn't knew much about his backstory.
This was a great book to tie in the stories between books 1 and 2 in the series. I'm so looking forward to Blood Keeper. :)
Jéééééééé :)))
Skvělé, lepší než celý první díl. Škoda, že už moc Reese neuvidíme...
I connected through Reese. I loved his character and I was so sad for his ending. This give me little piece but sparks more interest in the next book.

I love Reese so seeing this from his POV was terrific.
Good short story from Reese's POV. You can find it on Tessa Gratton's web site.
I really enjoyed this. Seeing a bit of the past from Reese's POV and seeing the present from his new form was soo interesting.I really enjoyed it and recommend it :D
Reese was my favorite from Blood Magic so I was pretty excited to see Tessa Gratton had written a short story centered on him. While I really enjoyed the insight into his character and past experiences, I still wasn't fully convined that Reese would choose Mab, the main character of The Blood Keeper, over Silla, the main character of Blood Magic and Reese's sister. Given his devotion and loss, it would have made more sense to me for Reese to divide himself between the two girls, given his new "s...
This was really cute because we get to see the side of Reese that we didn't get to see in the last book and know how he truly feels about the situation they are in. We also get to know a little bit about Mab, who is going to be the main charater in the next book. Even though it was short, it still has enough to know how Reese feel and how he care for his sister Silla and wish to be there for her and protect her from harm.
This was a good book to get me interested in the next book in the series since the characters aren't the same and seem so separate. This such a sweet story about Reese.
This is a fantastic bridge between books one and two of this duology, and I really hope it gets printed into the paperback edition of "The Blood Keeper" (seeing as it isn't in the paperback version of "Blood Magic"). So sad to see this duology go, and I LOVED it.Tessa's put it back up on her site (after it went missing for a long while), so read it here while you can: http://tessagratton.com/novels/crow-m...
Riktigt fin skriven, men fattade inte direkt slutet av den. Kanske blir mer uppenbart i nästa bok!Read my whole review at Book Obsession
A lovely short story that bridges the gap between Blood Magic and The Blood Keeper. I loved getting Reese's perspective, especially coming from his flock-of-crows self. It left me wanting more, though. Good thing I've got The Blood Keeper to read now.
A great short story, a bit random, of Reese's memories, all tangled up, and a bit sad, because I have an idea about what happens to him in The Blood Keeper, so yeah, it was a bit sad. But it was a great short story!
