This is a great introduction to what Dark Eclipse puts out. A great mix of poems, short stories, flashes fiction and other goodies. Not all of it was my cup of tea, but with everything you get in here, it's no wonder that not all of it would be appealing. Some highlights are Monster by Jackie Pierson, Open Book by Shaun Meeks, Death Gaze by Max Booth III, Cleaning the Basement by Gerry Griffiths, The Gun by Lori Michelle and Demons by Kenneth Whitfield.
Collects over a year's worth of stories and articles from DARK ECLIPSE. Yes, it even includes a piece by some odd cat with my name, taking a look at Clark Ashton Smith's work for WEIRD TALES. This magazine is put together by people who love horror and fantasy and are willing to take fresh looks at old tropes. For the price, you can't beat it.
