Stagecoach To Hell

Stagecoach To Hell

James Butler
0/5 ( ratings)
In this adult novel, two stagecoaches make stops in different towns across Arizona picking up gunfighters sentenced to hang. The outlaws are taken out into the desert to a place called the circles of death, where there are three imaginary circles drawn. The gunfighters are deposited at the inner circle, with no food or water. Each outlaw has a number and a card with the location of a fully loaded pistol at the second circle, two and a half miles away. A sheriff reads the instructions to each prisoner and, when he is sure they understand, he takes their chains and shackles off and climbs back into the coach. Five miles away at the Third Circle, outriders position themselves with their scoped rifles. Each outrider is a deadly marksman. When they reach the Second Circle, each of the outlaws will find a fully loaded gun with six shots and will know the one and only rule: Kill Everyone Else. If one can survive long enough, he will be rescued and declared the winner, but only one will win. The winner takes all. The rest are left in the desert, dead or dying. The whole thing is a game played by the sheriffs and people in the Arizona Territory. It takes place outside a town called Hell. The winner gets one hundred dollars in gold and is set free. The minimum bet is a twenty dollar gold double eagle. It’s called The Hangman’s Games.
