In this full-length comic campus novel, Chas joins Coventry College of Art as a sculpture student with friends Rich and Bob. An hilarious account of their attempts to create original art amid the ‘anything goes’ atmosphere of the late 1960s, and of Chas’s desperation to lose his virginity, this rights of passage novel also looks at the vagaries of student life and at the nature of art and how it is made.
