IT'S SO ORIGINAL I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT I LOVE THIS
Carl enjoys the page where the big brother is pulling the baby in a wagon--because they're going on a 'bagel walk'.
Very cute book. My two year old loved it. He became a big brother in April.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel with my eldest child, my son, for it reminded me of all that we discussed with him as we prepared for the arrival of our youngest child, my daughter. This children's story was very well written and very well detailed at this young child prepared to become a big brother. I highly recommend stories such as this one to be read with young children, especially if they relate to something going on in the young one's life. It's hard to find "toddler" stories, but...
One of the books we're using to introduce the idea of a younger sibling to our toddler. It's nice, with lots of things that are pleasant about the new baby, and ways not just to help, as if big brother is a commodity, but rather ways to be included and join in the wonder of a new life. My toddler was pretty enthralled by the pictures and story... at least for now while the new baby is purely theoretical to him!
Good book!Big Brothers are great. This book would be helpful for families expecting more children. Big brothers can be helpful with their younger siblings. A big brother who helps feels invested in the life of their younger siblings and form important attachments
Adorable illustrations.

Awards: NoneAppropriate Grade Levels: Pre-K through 1st maybe 2nd Original Summary: A boy has a new baby brother and learns about all the ways he can help take care of him and be the best big brother anyone could ask for!Original Review: I just want to add there is also a book called, "I Am a Big Sister" which is the same except of course instead of a baby brother they have a new baby sister. I think this book is great because it can show children how much fun having a new sibling can be and all...
We've been reading this book to our toddler to help him get ready for being a big brother. It is very cute and introduces some good lessons on being quiet while baby is napping, singing to the baby, and playing with the baby. I like it and am hoping my little boy picks up a concept or two from it before next baby comes!
The cutest illustrations and little rhymes.
Very cute book for my 2 year old grandson to welcome his baby sister. Nice colors/illustrations to go along with the story.
A new big brother explores all the ways he'll help with his new sibling. toddler and up
Perfect. Especially considering the timing. Jack probably would have been the caring, solicitous big brother that he is without this book. But it certainly didn’t hurt.10/10
I like this book.
