After a failed hostage rescue operation in which the entire military Special Operations Team 7 is nearly killed. Controller, Miles Craven, and team leader, John Lynch, view a video , showing some type of experimentation taking place on them at the end of their mission.

Team 7's next mission is to shut down and terminate these supposed experiments results in the annihilation everyone within the compound but the team finds nothing but an empty warehouse on site.

Lynch refuses to believe Craven set them up until it's too late as the team begins to fall into Gen-factor induced comas. Team 7 was told by Craven that the enemy had dropped a bio-chemical weapon on them. Several members of Team 7 are unable to cope or control their new powers and went mad or committed suicide.

Cole Cash distrusted Craven and suspected that he was behind the experiment, but Lynch still refuses to believe that their own people would do this to them.

The team is sent out on another mission, this time to East Africa. During the operation, team member Andrew Johnson begins using his powers in sadistic ways, basking in the glory of his ability to make people kill themselves. His psychotic display of power forces Cash to shoot and kill him in front of Lynch.

Craven sends Team 7 out again on another mission but the Team begins to ask the hard questions, like will the members of Team 7 going to go mad with power? Are they just soldiers... weapons? Or are they people?

And most importunately, what will happen to their children?
