I got this book by a mail from Mark Manson and i really appreciate his efforts as he took care about every detail. Okay So the book is amazing and very very meaningful . ( Based on real life examples ) All the changes are based on ideas and ideas give us new perspectives and from those new perspectives we’re able to change our behaviours . Just think for a while ; if we’re thinking about something continuously then who’s observing our mind thinking ? This is the idea no #1 “The two minds” . It w...
This book is revolutionary! This gives me the insight to make my days MORE PRODUCTIVE and MORE FULFILLING.The three ideas are:1. The Two Minds.I have covered this topic in my review about “Mark Manson on Self-Knowledge”, you can check that out! Basically, we have “Thinking Mind” and “Observing Mind”; and in order to maintain our sanity and productivity, we need to NOT FUSE these two minds.2. How to 80/20 Your Life. Also known as Pareto Principle; discovered by Italian economist named Vilfredo Par...

It’s basically an article or a long essay if you will but damn, a good one.If you want one guy to give it to you straight, it’s Mark Manson. The two mind rule really hit me hard. The way be explains stuff is like a smooth professor, the...
I read this book at the end of the year thinking it might give me some profound information on how to deal with life better. It’s simplistic writing helped me ask some deeper questions and formulate some resolutions for the coming year. It was less of a reading experience and more of a reflective experience. Would recommend it to everyone willing to take an introspective look on their lives.
3 ideas that can change your life! The title itself is so attractive that one would love to read the book. However in the first few lines at the beginning, the author mentioned that those coming up ideas that he talked about in the book are not innovated by himself, instead, he elaborated that the ideas are a collection of the most powerful and usual ideas that he has learned throughout his research life. And that is one of the main reasons I wanted to continue reading! A wonderful mini book I w...
Brief yet very, very intriguing.
Short, sweet, and subtle. If you are just starting reading books, you might wanna give this book a try. Loved the way Mark writes. Happy reading!
Its small, Its an easy read, its practical and that's why its relevant and helpful.Definitely the ideas that can change your life, if you wish to apply them thoroughly.Mark briefly explains the 3 ideas which I feel are really relevant for people during these times when people most of the times get stuck on their feelings and end up doing nothing, when due to our inability to manage emotions we get less focussed and when our feelings and emotions take form of outrage compelling us to react on eve...
One Word : Precise!I was going gaga for exam preparation and just then this book came to rescue me. I've read a few blogs of Mark Manson. He's one of my favorites and I think I am going to remember this short yet extremely helpful lesson for a long time. The Two minds idea never clicked to me before and now when I know how it works, "I am feeling" very much good about it. I've read thousands of time about 80/20 rule and still never gave it a thought, reading it here was being awakened. Belief sy...
This is a short read and a useful one. Manson introduced 3 ideas that have influenced his life. I love Manson's writing style: easy to read and easy to understand. More importantly, he provided concepts that we can apply for self-improvement.
Mostly things I already knew. Nevertheless a to-the-point book. No sugar coating, but just explaining the core ideas with some helpful examples. With most content I read from Manson, I feel that I want to take action. It's a great plus if something I read motivates me to take action.
4.5* to be precise.I loved Idea #1 & #3 but had never heard about #2 before.
Some of these ideas were new. Some of them - not so much. But one way or another, I would recommend to read this.I personally really loved the idea of two minds - thinking mind and observing (one that sees that you are thinking) mind. It really opened me to new way of noticing my emotions and my feelings that make me do rash things and take stupid decisions. The one thing, though, that I really disliked was that there are no links to scientific research or anything else to read more about these t...
Nice PDF full of really insightful nuggets of wisdom.
Some of the shortest books teach you the most. This book is one of them.
Received this as a free booklet for my opt-in of Mark Manson's email list. I think the major reason Mark Manson has become such a huge success is not because he gives the best advice out there, but because he writes it so satirically that you don't feel like an old man's lecturing you in his rocking chair by the fireplace with smelly socks and an awkward loose-fitted beany on!
small book with useful information.. some of these informations were not new to me but some other were completely new! I liked the part of the 2 minds the most!!..
It's short, which is nice. It gives you somethings about what buddha teachings; calm, observant of one's self, be at peace at your own pace. One of the books you should definitely read when you are feeling lost in the adult-life.
I've read quickly through this one because it feels more like an article than a book (and is only 30 pages long). I found it funny that the first idea actually coincides with the time I've decided to be more mindful, reading, among other methods, David Hawkins who actually proposes similar practices in order to achieve clarity and abundance. Other ideas are also pretty helpful. The ideas themselves are interesting and definitely call for more research, and I assume that was the end goal for the
