Winter has arrived, Christmas is here! Everything is ready for Santa’s arrival and many dreams wait to be fulfilled! No wonder that so many are waiting for Santa, in fact, some are looking forward to his arrival even more.
There is Monica for example, waiting all day long at the window pane for the old man with the white beard.
- My dream will come true today! My dream will come true today! Yes, finally!
Her mum called her in vain.
- Monica, come on, lunch is ready.
- I can’t , I’m waiting for Santa.
- Monica, come on, dinner is ready.
- I can’t, Santa must be coming soon!
So it went on until late at night when she finally fell asleep touching the window with her tiny little nose.
Although it is unbelievable, there was someone, who was not waiting for Christmas at all!
- They have spread salt on the pavement again! –so he complained while walking alongside shop windows that were floating in Christmas lights – but why am I complaining, nobody is interested in a dog paw soaked in salt…- with a big sighing coming deep from his heart he added –Better said, a street dog paw… never mind, there’s a remedy for every problem -thought he,- I will visit my good old friend, the cook from the corner–and so he turned onto Perfect Scent street.
