Learning How to Write: A Writing Handboof for College and for Individual Instruction

Raul Reyes
0/5 ( ratings)
This is a handbook on writing.previously published under the title Seven Steps To Theme Writing for use in the college classroom.. Here it has been adapted for general public instruction.. It stresses the structured approach the author takes to the skill of writing, emphasizing the step-by-step construction involved in all writing. The work includes paragraph development, topic sentence construction, the use of connecting language between sentences and paragraphs for better understanding, stressing the need for revision and rewriting. It also includes the use of informal and formal organization, and the different uses of each type. Though, it is a book that would still fit well in classroom where it was originally used, filled as it is with examples and exercises for the student, it's also a work that can be used by any individual seeking self-improvement in his or her writing skills. An Instructor's manual for classroom teachers is also available.
