I loved Teen Titans. But I adore Teen Titans Go! It's funny and sharp and the overload on colours and talking is right up my alley. Me and my brother can watch this for days, my partner has enough after one episode. It takes a certain kind of person to like the show. This comic wasn't what i expected. It felt too slow. An overload of things but at the same time not interesting. I feels unfair to compare the comic to the show but I do. And this fails. Only the art I adored and gave this the extra
My children lately are obsessed with this TV series. They have watched all the episodes. And when they finished all the available seasons, they watched them again from the beginning. And when they finished everything, they have started it again. From the beginning. My daughter keeps singing the burrito song and the hamburger song from that episode in which Cyborg and Beast Boy were fighting for the tastier food.Generally we are having a Titans month, because me as well watch the Titans. But the d...
4.5 Stars - If you are a fan of the shows you will like this book series, it is like the TV show but has different stories.
An enjoyable entertaining book with quirky characters who seem to love each other but also fight each other plenty. Robin leads the teen titans into sometimes mundane or obscure quests. This is a compilation of 6 comic book issues where they become employees of a silicon valley start-up company where Cyborg spends money endlessly giving grand presents to the titans...prank phone calls can be fun until you prank the wrong person.....Raven and Star-Fire try to have a girls only slumber party.....m...
My kids and I miss the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon. It was fun and funny, and also had some amazing messages. The new Teen Titans GO! cartoon foregoes the latter, opting more for irreverence and amusement rather than important morals, but there's still a lot to make us laugh. Teen Titans GO! volume 1 Party does a great job of capturing all that goodness—and the ridiculousness of the cartoon. From crazy stories about Robin and Beast Boy’s mini-putt show down, to demon pizzas, this has just about eve...
Thought I was borrowing Tiny Titans (also a great series of graphic novels).Highly recommended for fans of the TV series. One of the Bonus Borrows through Hoopla.
The art isn't as good as I originally thought it was but the stories were classic.
If you haven’t watched the Teen Titans Go! series on Cartoon Network, I suggest you correct your error very soon. This wacky show where DC parodies itself is consistently hilarious and off the wall. It’s a bit like company-sanctioned fanfiction for the original Teen Titans series many of us remember from Cartoon Network in the mid-2000s.Here’s a few clips for the uninitiated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhf1v...So you think it’s awesome, right? I’m glad we’re in agreement. Of course, when I
Good
Hilarious collection of all ages short stories featuring the Teen Titans as portrayed in the latest cartoon show. These stories are funny and full of hi-jinx but still keep the basic nature and relationships of the characters that are so popular. Lots of superhero goodness as well with numerous bad guys including The Riddler and Captain Cold. Perfect for the younger comic fan!
I'm probably waaaaay too old to enjoy Teen Titans Go!, the show and the comics, as much as I do.
good
So coolThe pizza monster was so cool but it was evil it had so much health but they killed it. Pizzaa
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book through First Reads. This has in no way influenced my review. The Teen Titans are back in another version of their cartoon series (at the expense of my beloved Young Justice, but that's another story). Teen Titans Go! is is a zany, madcap show with the emphasis firmly on humor and this trade collects issues #1-6 of the tie-in comic book (with each issues having two stories). Yes, a comic based on a tv version of a comic book team. You get used to it...
AmazingTeen Titans Go! Is an amazing game which I, as a kid myself, think that kids would really enjoy. 5 Stars
"This is not a hat party. Take that off."This is just a fun collection of super stories following the characters of Teen Titans Go.It's cutesy and goofy and geared for kids but is a refreshing read in between Teen Titans Go episodes.
I am watching this series (Teen Titans Go!) and when I found out it also had comics, I decided to check it out and see if it was just as good as the cartoon series is. I have to say this: yes, it is good. However. I would also recommend that people watch the cartoon series. At least one chapter spoils the outcome of an episode, and while in that specific episode it was quite clear what happened, I think it would still be a shame if you didn't watch it and later watched it and knew all about it.E...
Brings back the after school cartoon vibes. Those were the good ol' days.
Teen Titans Go! is currently one of my daughter's fan favourite ones cartoon shows and I love it too, The Night Begins To Shine, the rock '80s-style track that's Cyborg's favorite song in various episodes is currently my smartphone's ringtone (watch the clip here and enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR131...).This volume, like many other static comic-book adaptions from animated series, was just as not good as the show that inspired it for me, but stories collected here were funny at last
What makes this comic a pleasure to read is identical to what makes the show a joy to watch: they're both just pure, laid-back, semi-anarchic fun. Teen Titans Go! (TTG) is irreverent, silly, and self-referential. It doesn't insist upon itself, nor does it try to be anything more than it is. This may sound like a backhanded compliment, but there's nothing backhanded about it. In the comic/cinematic/television landscape of mostly serious-borderline-dark superhero franchises, it's refreshing to be
